A developer’s view

About me

My name is Ramon de Klein and I am a self-employed software engineer that has specialized in .NET development. I wrote my first program on a Philips P200T in 1984. I studied Software Engineering in the early 90’s and started my professional carreer in 1995. Since then I mostly programmed using Microsoft technologies. I started with C/C++ and MFC, but switched to .NET right after the introduction.

In 2007 I started my own company, called Le Petit, and worked for a wide variety of companies. Mostly Microsoft technologies, but also NodeJS and client-side Javascript frameworks. I work best in small teams with a mix of experienced and junior programmers. Brainstorming, coaching and discussions with management and end-users to create the best product and lift the development department to the next level.

After more than 30 years, programming is still my greatest passion. I work on a variety of open-source projects, participate on StackOverflow and try to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies.
